Drug Safety and Risk Communication in a post-Vioxx Era

On Thursday evening, April 3, 2008 over 100 leading physician scientists from multiple clinical and public health disciplines convened at the Jumeirah Essex House in New York City to discuss the future of medicine. The following morning, Pfizer's Medical and Academic Partnership (MAP) advisory boards determined the grant recipients for the 2008-09 academic year.
